The VocAlign Pro or Revoice Pro license must be installed on an iLok USB Key (version 1, 2 or 3)

The VocAlign Project license can be installed on your computer or an iLok USB Key (version 1,2 or 3)

If you have ordered from our store and have not received an email containing your iLok Activation Code, please:

  1. Check your email SPAM, JUNK, CLUTTER and INBOX folders for an email from synchroarts.com that contains the information you need.
  2. If you do not find an email with your iLok Activation Code, Click Here to email us at sales@synchroarts.com, and we will resend your information. Make sure you include your Order Reference.

Since we started in 1995, it has been Synchro Arts’ policy is to provide our customers with 1 license for each license purchased, in the same way as you get one computer or one piece of hardware when you purchase one item.

If we offered two licenses for every one sold, we’d have to raise our base prices to cover sales lost to reselling and sharing of second licenses.

So rather than doing that (which affects every customer) we instead try to make sure we give our customers the best prices we can, and support you for free, and protect your investment in our products by staying in business to ensure they continue to work with future DAWs, computers and operating systems.

If you find a need to have more than one license for your operation, contact sales@synchroarts.com with your requirements so we can provide you with a quote for multiple “site licenses” based on your needs.

You can install the software on any number of machines.

Once activated, move your Synchro Arts license onto an iLok USB Key (using the iLok License Manager).

The software will then run when the iLok is plugged into any machine on which the software is installed.

If you see the following error in PayPal:

PayPal returned an error, please try different card.

Make sure you are using your credit card's registered country in our store.

If you install an iLok license and it is displayed as Queued on the iLok Manager it can be for the following reasons.

A first generation iLok only allowed for one product's license to reside on it at one time. Any other identical licenses would then be queued. This does not occur with second generation iLoks because second generation iLoks allow for multiple licenses of the same product to reside on it.

There are two issues here based on the screenshot. The first is currently the expired NFR license for Revoice Pro 3 is on the iLok so that license cannot be use to authorize. The second issue is that the expired license is an NFR and the new license the user is trying to use is a trial/demo. A trial/demo license cannot activate a NFR or regular license. Only a untimed license, time-limited license or another time-limited NFR will allow authorization again once all other activations of Revoice Pro 3 have been deactivated from it.

Authorization of Revoice Pro 3 requires an iLok USB key.

Please follow these steps carefully:

  1. If you haven't done so,
    1. Create an account on www.ilok.com,
    2. Download the latest iLok Licence Manager from www.ilok.com and install it.
    3. Plug your iLok (USB Key) into your computer.
  2. Run your iLok Licence Manager and sign in to your account.
  3. Go to the 'Redeem Activation Code' window in the Licence Manager,
    1. Enter your Activation Code where instructed. Your iLok Licence will then be delivered to the Licence Manager.
    2. In the Licence Manager, drag your Revoice Pro licence to the image and name of the iLok USB key you want to use.
  4. If you haven't done so already, download any of the Revoice Pro software versions for your DAWs and Operating Systems from:
    http://www.synchroarts.com/compatibility/editors/Revoice+Pro+3
  5. Install and run Revoice Pro.
Revoice Pro uses a license that must be installed on an iLok USB Key.

If you received a Revoice PRO Activation Code it should look like this:

XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XX
(where X's are numbers)

Note that this code is NOT a licence but an Activation Code that you must redeem in the iLok License Manager (available from iLok.com ) to obtain your licence.

Watch the iLok.com video below to see how to use an Activation Code to get your license into an iLok USB key.

For step by step instructions - click Here to go to Authorization chapter in the Revoice Pro User Guide and/or go to www.iLok.com.

Why is the Doubler output level about 1 db lower than the input signal?

We reduce the gain slightly to allow head room as we process the signals - part of the process creates a small gain. Reducing the overall gain by 1 db avoids any possibility of the signal clipping.

The stereo output double always seems a little left heavy?

This will depend on the exact settings, as of the purpose of the Doubler is to create different signals. We do not really create a stereo double pair but two output signals which can be used in the mix.

Click Here to go to the Installing and Authorizing chapter in Revoice Pro User Guide for information on installation.

There are two things to check:

  1. You need to select the APT process which the Dub with the Protected Region is the input to. (You most easily select an APT process by clicking either the Dub Process Control Block or the Output.). It will become green and the process information panel at the right of the track should show something like "APT:2 Dub Energy".
  2. If it does NOT say “Energy”, then you need to open the APT control Panel for that process and select "Energy" in the "DISPLAY/EDIT" section.

When those two items are taken care of, you should be able to select the handles at the top of the Protected Region and drag them.

The start and end of the Guide and Dub Input Process Control Blocks define the range of the audio above the blocks that will be processed. If there is no audio above Dub Process Control Block, no audio is being input to the process.

You probably need to RIGHT CLICK in the track waveform area and select "Edit Audio" in the pop-up window. Then LEFT CLICK the waveform and it should turn green indicating it is selected. The process information panel at the right of the track should show something with the word “Audio”.

Sometimes there is a breath or other noise at the start of the Guide or Dub that is not in the other track. This can throw the timing of the processed signal's start and following sections out of alignment.

Try moving the start of the APT Process Control Blocks to start after the noise and around 0.25 to 0.5 seconds before the signal of interest starts for both Guide and Dub.

You probably have already installed a Revoice Pro TRIAL license in your iLok account. You cannot run a second trail license. Contact Synchro Arts only if you have NOT run a trial and get that message.

If you see the following messages when you try and start Revoice Pro, then you need to install extra iLok software

Authorization Error

To install the extra software:

  1. Open the file RevoicePro.dmg
  2. Open the folder Extras
  3. Run the program LicenseSupport.pkg

Ableton Live has a sample based gain control

Revoice Pro does not have a gain control for each audio file so when you tranfer audio from Live to Revoice the level may increase when you play the audio in Revoice Pro.

When you transfer the audio back to Live the gain may be set to 0dB. You may need to adjust the gain on the new audio in Live to avoid clipping.

When you are using Revoice Pro with Digital Performer:

To ensure files dragged from Revoice Pro are saved in the Digital Perfomer project open the DP Preference and Setting windows and set:

Always copy imported audio to project audio folder.

Revoice Pro needs to be able to spot aligned audio to a time code position.

It is not possible to spot audio to timecode in Final Cut Pro, you have to manually position the audio. This leads to a very slow work flow. So we do not recommend using Revoice with Final Cut Pro.

To remove Revoice Pro and its plug-ins from OS X you need to delete the following files

In the Applications folder delete Revoice Pro

/Applications/Revoice Pro.app

To delete the plug-ins you need to delete the following files

/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/RevoiceProLink.aaxplugin

/Library/Application Support/DigiDesign/Plug-Ins/RevoiceProLink.dpm

/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/RevoiceProMonitor.component

/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/RevoiceProLink.component

/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/RevoiceProLink.vst3

/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/RevoiceProMonitorVST.vst3

How to use Revoice Pro 3 with Adobe Audition CC

Importing Audio to Revoice Pro 3 from Adobe Audition

1) First, run Revoice Pro.

2) In Adobe Audition, perfom a scan for plug-ins. To do this choose Effects->Audio Plug-in Manager and click the button 'Scan for Plug-ins'. You should see something similar to the image below.

3) Next you need to add the plug-in RevoiceProLink as a VST3 effect to the tracks that contain the audio that you want to transfer to Revoice Pro 3. In the example below  we are using two tracks, named Guide and Dub.

4)The image below shows you how the RevoicePro Link plug-ins appear in Audition.

5) In each plug-in's window,  use the drop-down menu (button) to choose the name of the destination track in Revoice Pro. In this example we have chosen to send the track "Dub" in Audition to track "RVP Dub" in Revoice Pro and the track "Guide" in Audition to the track "RVP Guide" in Revoice Pro.

6) Click on the Capture Enable switch under the label "Capture" to make it turn ON (shown in green below).

7) In Audition line up the playhead to the start of the audio you wish to transfer and start the playback. All the tracks that have been enabled for capture will begin transferring audio to Revoice Pro.

8) During playback, an indicator in the plug-in will display the current duration of the audio captured.

9) When Audition has played the audio to be captured, stop the playback. The captured audio will appear in the selected tracks in Revoice Pro.

Exporting Audio From Revoice Pro 3 to Adobe Audition

1) In Revoice Pro select the processed audio.

2) Hold down the SHIFT and ALT (Mac) / SHIFT and Ctrl (Windows) keys on the keyboard. (Do not press the mouse first or you might move the waveform.)

3) LEFT CLICK on the processed waveform and keep holding down the LEFT mouse key. The white (.wav) document symbol should appear next to the cursor.

4) You should now release the keyboard keys (for compatibility with some DAWs).

5) Keeping the LEFT mouse button held down,  drag the document icon into a track in your DAW. Release the LEFT mouse button.

6) The waveform will go to a position near where you "dropped" it, but not necessarily to the correct start timecode. If that's the case, the next step will move it to the correct start timecode.

7) Use Adobe Audition to  "Spot", or equivalent function (??) to snap the dragged audio to the correct embedded timecode. See below...

Please Note

Unlike most other audio editors, Audition seems not to be able to move an audio clip  to its embedded timecode once it has been added (or dragged) to a track. If you know a way of doing this efficiently please let us know.

It is however possible to import the processed audio at the correct timecode:

1) Follow steps 1 to 4 above.

2) Drag the processed file from Revoice Pro to a folder of your choice (e.g. the Desktop).

3) In Audition select the destination track.

4) Use Adobe Audition's Import  function (choose File->Import->File) to import Revoice Pro's processed audio from the folder that you used in step 2) above.

5) This will add the file at the correct timecode as long as you have enabled the option  "Use embedded timecode when inserting clips into Multitrack". See the Multitrack Clips section of Audition's preferences.

If the plug-ins installer fails to work on OS X 10.6.8 or earlier, go to the Extras folder and run Plug-Ins-Unsigned.

When using the Revoice Pro Link plug-ins in Pro Tools when you press Spot audio will apear in the timeline only if the USE IN PLAYLIST control is selected.

If USE IN PLAYLIST is not selected the audio is added to the clip bin but not added to the timeline.

If you use the Quick Doubler on a mono track to create a stereo Double and send the result to a stereo track may only get a mono output.

If you select an area in the output stereo track you will get a stereo output.

You may have to set multi-Input-mode before prcessing Spot.

The same issue will apply to other Revoice processes.

You may see the following dialog box when starting Pro Tools 10

Move Unauthorized Plug-Ins

You should select Yes

Revoice Pro installs two plug-ins for Pro Tools:

  • An Audio Suite Plug-in that is compatible with Pro Tools 9 and 10.
  • An AAX Audio Suite plug-in that is only compatible with Pro Tools 11 and higher.

Pro Tools 10 may try to load the aax plug-in, however this is a 64 bit plug-in that only works with Pro Tools 11 and later. Pro Tools 10 assumes the plug-in is damaged.

If you run Pro Tools 11 on your system you will need to move the plug-in back from the "Plug-In (Unused)" folder.

WARNING FOR PRO TOOLS 10 USERS. If you are capturing audio with Revoice Pro Link Plug-in do NOT use BAR BEATS setting in Pro Tools 10 and 10.1. There is a Pro Tools bug that will place the captured audio at the wrong time code in Revoice Pro. AVID state the fix is expected in Pro Tools 10.2.

The Revoice Pro Link plug-ins do not work with Samplitude.

When using Revoice Pro with Studio One, in the Studio One preference panel you should enable

Ask to copy external files when saving Song

This ensures any audio files dragged from Revoice Pro are saved in your Studio One project.

If you cannot drag and drop files from Revoice Pro into your DAW do the following:

1) Drag an audio file from Revoice to your desktop.

2) Try and drag the file from the desktop into your DAW.

If you cannot drag the file into your DAW it may because the DAW is being Run as administrator

You need to ether run your DAW as a normal user or run Revoice Pro as administrator.

Note that if your run Revoice as an Administrator it is not possible to drag and drop files from Windows Explorer into Revoice.

When starting Revoice Pro you may see the following message:

When you  receive this message it typically means that the service (PACE License Services) has either quit unexpectedly, stopped running, did not install properly or never starts on system start up.

Try manually enabling the PACE License Services with the following steps:

1) Click the Start button and choose Control Panel

2) Choose either “Performance and Maintenance” (if viewing the Control Panel under Category View), double-click Administrative Tools (if viewing under Classic View) or if on Windows 8, System and Security

3) Choose Administrative Tools. If this has already been done under step 2, proceed to the next step

4) Double-click Services

5) Search for a service called “PACE License Services” and double-click it

6) Beside the “Startup type” section, make sure that Automatic is chosen from the pull down menu. If not, choose Automatic now

7) Click on the Start button of the PACE License Services Properties window

8) Click the OK button and close all the windows and reboot

9) Once logged back into Windows after reboot, return back to the PACE License Services Properties window and verify the PACE License Services is running and its settings remain as they were last changed

If the setting remained unchanged, try authorizing Revoice Pro 3. If there were any issues with any of the steps or the settings changed, try installing the License Support installer again but this time using “Run as administrator”. To do this, right-click the License Support installer and choose “Run as administrator” from the pop-up menu.

We would appreciate it if you send feedback to support@synchroarts.com on whether these steps fixed the problem on your system.

You may see the following error when trying to start Revoice Pro.

This error can occur if the current user’s temporary directory (i.e. 'UsersUSERNAMEAppDataLocal') is either full, inaccessible or hampered in any way.
To empty a system's TEMP location, try using Windows' Disk Cleanup tool. The tool operates differently for each version of Windows so an internet search on how to access and operate it would be advised. When using Disk Cleanup, the "Temporary files" checkbox should be enabled to delete files from the system's TEMP location.
If the system's TEMP location is inaccessible, the user may need to take ownership of the directory to gain full access. To do that:
1) On the keyboard, press the Windows key + R keys together
2) In the Run window, type "%temp%" and then click OK
3) When the default Temp folder opens, go up one folder location (press Alt + Up Arrow)
4) Right-click the TEMP folder and select Properties from the pop-up menu
5) In the Properties window, click the ‘Security’ tab
6) You will see a list of user names in this window, select username currently being used and click on the "Edit" button
7) In the new window, click on the same username to check the permissions for that account. Make sure that the check box against ‘Full control’ is set as ‘Allow’
8) If the check boxes are greyed out, then click on ‘cancel’ to close the Window
9) In the Security tab, click on the ‘Advanced’ tab at the bottom.
10) In the Advanced Security Settings window, check the username against 'username’ in the top left
11) If the currently being used username is not displayed as the Owner, click on ‘Change’ option next to the ‘Owner’ field
12) Type the currently being used username in the box provided and click ‘Check names’ and then click ‘OK’ to save changes.
13) 'OK' and close any remaining open windows
14) Reboot the system and then try running Revoice Pro 3 again
If the issue persists after following the above suggestions and steps, please contact support@synchroarts.com.

VocALign and Revoice Pro use VST 3 plug-ins.

VST 3 plug-ins are not suported by Pyramix.

  1. Stop all audio applications running.
  2. Go to the folder "/Library/Application Support/Propellerhead Software/Rewire".
  3. Delete or rename the file Rewire.bundle.
  4. Start Revoice Pro and press the Rewire button.

The correct version of the file should then be installed.

Note Rewire suport has been removed from Revocie Pro 3.0 and later and replaced with Audio Monitoring Plug-ins.

A guide to using Revoice Pro 3 and SONAR X3 using VST 3 plug-ins

1) Open SONAR X3 and Revoice Pro 3

In this example track one in SONAR contains the guide audio and track 2 the dub.

2) Add the Revoice Pro Link as an effect on SONAR track one

3) In the link window set the Revoice Track to Audio 1

4) Add the Revoice Pro Link as an effect on SONAR track two

5) In the link window set the Revoice Track to Audio 2

6) Arm capture in the plug-ins by pressing Capture. (If you have the shift key pressed when you select Capture all the Revoice Pro Link plug-in will go into capture mode.)

In SONAR position the playhead to the start of the audio you want to capture and start playing.

You will see a count in seconds in the Revoice Pro Link windows as audio is captured.

Stop capture in SONAR when your audio has been played.

7) The audio will now be in Revoice Pro

8) Use the steps documented in theRevoice Pro Manual to create the process you require.

9) If you try to play audio within Revoice Pro you may see the following message.

This occurs if SONAR has taken exclusive control of the audio output device.

You can play the Revoice Pro audio out via track in SONAR.

10) Create a new track in SONAR and add the Revoice Pro Monitor as a plug-in.

11) In Revoice Pro enable the monitor output

Now Revoice Pro 3 will play via SONAR.

If you start playback in SONAR, Revoice Pro will play in synch with the SONAR session.

12) You can return audio from Revoice Pro to SONAR by dragging and dropping the audio from Revoice Pro - please see Revoice Pro Manual

Logic Pro 10.3 added Selection-Based Processing, which lets you transfer audio from Logic to Revoice Pro 3.3 instantly.

This error occurs if there are long areas of silence in the signal. (Greater that 10 seconds.) To avoid the error align the signal in smaller sections without the silence.

How to use the VocALign VST3 plug-ins with Adobe Audition CC.

You must use VocALign Project 3.1.3 VST or VocALign Pro 4.2.3 VST or later with Audition. Earlier versions of VocAlign Project and VocAlign Pro will not work correctly.

The screen shots in this note use VocALign Project 3 as an example. The operating steps are the same for VocALign Pro 4.

1) Install the VST3 version of VocALign to your computer.

2) In Audition choose Effects->Audio Plug-in Manager and click the button 'Scan for Plug-ins'. You should see something similar to the image below.

3) Next you need to add VocALign as an effect to the track that contains your Dub Audio. In the example below we are using  the track that has been named 'Dub'.

The image below shows how the plug-in will appear in Audition.

4)  Next you need to activate the side chain in VocALign. In the plug-in's window click the 'Side Chain' button (3rd icon from the top left of the window) and set it to 'Mono'. See below...

5) Now you need to route the Guide track to VocALign's side chain. In Audition, click the 'Mixer' tab and then route the Guide track's Send to  VocALign's Side-Chain. See below...

After you have done this you should see something similar to the image below...

5) Now switch back to the 'Editor' tab in Audition. Set Audition's playhead at the start of the audio that you want to capture. Click the button 'Capture Audio' in VocALign and press Play in Audition. You will hear the audio being played and see the playhead moving in VocALign. The green lamp in VocALign will also start to blink.

Stop playing when you have played the audio that you need.

After you have stopped replay you should see your audio in VocAlign's window. See below...

Click the button 'Edit' in VocALign to see the Aligned audio. You may need to trim the selected audio in VocALign by using the ornage and blue arrows

Pressing Play in Audition will replay the aligned Dub audio. To hear the original Dub, bypass the plug-in.

For more details on using the VocALign plug-ins please see the manuals at www.synchroarts.com/downloads

Pro Tools -7450 Error on Windows and Mac

This problem affects Pro Tools HD 8.1.1, Pro Tools 8.0.5, Pro Tools 9.0

This problem does not occur in Pro Tools 9.0.1 - 9.0.2 or later and earlier versions of Pro Tools 8 and Pro Tools 7.

VocALign Project and Pro - all versions

When you press the Process button you will see the following:

DAE Error -7450

This is caused by a change in the way Pro Tools supports VocALign.

This can now be fixed by using Pro Tools 8.1.1.1 or 8.0.5.1 please see

Avid Support

In Pro Tools you need to ensure that the playlist option is selected at the top of the AudioSuite window.

If this option is not selected the aligned audio will not be returned to the correct location.

There is an issue in the current versions of Pro Tools 11 and 12 which can result in the length of the output audio created by VocALign being too long. The signal will be followed by an area of silence.

To avoid this issue you need to do the following:

VocALign Project Press the Align button before pressing Spot.

VocAlign Pro< - Press the Process button before pressing Spot.

We are working with Avid to fix this issue in  later versions of Pro Tools.

This note applies to VocALign Pro and VocAlign Project.

When you capture audio that contains silence at its start it may appear as if VocALign has not captured any audio.

However you will notice that the start time at the top left of the VocAlign display will have changed (Assuming you are not capturing from zero).

If you zoom out or move the scroll bar thumb you will see the audio that has been captured.

The issue occures because VocAlign auto scrolls to the start of the captured audio even if that audio is silence leaving the visible audio off screen.

You should avoid captureing silence at the start of the Guide and Dub audio as it causes alignment problems.

If the VocAlign VST3 plug-in is installed but not displayed in Reaper you may need to have Reaper to rescan the VST plug-ins.

Open the Reaper preference panel and make sure the VST3 plug-ins paths includes c:Program FilesCommon FilesVST3

Then press Clear cache/re-scan

These instructions appy to the Windows version of SONAR.

If you cannot see VocALign Pro or VocALign Project in Sonar's Region FX Menu there are four things to check:

1) Have you downloaded the correct version of VocALign?

If you are running the 64 bit version of Sonar you will need to install the 64 bit, VST3 version for Windows of VocALign Project or VocALign Pro. Similarly if you are running the 32 bit version of Sonar you will need to install the 32 bit, VST3  version for Windows of VocAlign Project or VocALign Pro.

You can download the installers from: Downloads

To check which version of Sonar you are using, select Help->About in Sonar. At the bottom of the  window that appears  you will Sonar's version number. If its version number ends in "x64" then you are running the 64 bit version of Sonar. The image below shows the "About window"  from the 64bit version of Sonar Platinum.

2) Has SONAR registered VocALign as a new plug-in?

First, please make sure that you have either activated your computer with a licence for VocALign  or connected an iLok USB key that holds a licence for VocALign to your compter.

For more information on how to authorize VocALign, please see the section "Software Installation and Authorization" in the user manual. You can download the manuals for VocALign Project and VocALign Pro  from: Downloads.

In some cases Sonar will not automatically scan its VST plug-ins as it starts. This means that Sonar may not recognize any recently installed plug-ins, such as VocALign Project or VocALign Pro. To force Sonar to search for new plug-ins:

In Sonar open the "Cakewalk Plug-in Manager" (select Utilities->Cakewalk Plug-in Manager").

Open the VST Configuration -> Options window

Make sure that one of the scan paths is set to

c:\Program files\common files\vst3

Then select

Re-scan failed plug-ins

and

Re-scan existing plug-ins

close the Scan Paths window and then select Scan VST Plug-ins

If VocALign is found an iLok authorisation window may be displayed. You must compete any instructions that are displayed.

Once Sonar has registered the VocALign plug-in successfully, you will be able to select it from the Region FX Menu.

3) Run as Administrator

You should not use Run as Administrator to start SONAR when scanning for new plug-ins.

4) Failed Plug-ins

If VocALign does not appear it is possible you have VST3 plug-in from another manufacture that is stopping SONAR scanning all the plug-ins. You may need to find the failing plug-in and remote it from the VST3 folders.

How to use the VocAlign VST 3 plug-in with SONAR X3

The screen shots in this description use VocALign Project 3, the operating steps are the same for VocAlign Pro 3.

1) Add VocALign as an effect in the track which contains your Dub audio. (In this example its is the second track which has been named Dub.)

This image shows how the plug-in will appear.

You now need to send audio from the Guide track into the VocALign side chain input.

You should now see the following send in the Guide track.

Now set the SONAR playhead at the start of the area you want to capture, select Capture Audio in VocAlign and press Play in SONAR.

You will hear audio being played and see the playhead move in VocALign. Stop playing when the audio you want to process has been played.

You should see your audio in the VocAlign window.

Press Edit to view the aligned audio. You may need to trim your selected audio in VocALign using the orange and blue arrows.

If you press play in SONAR you will hear the aligned audio. To hear the original Dub audio bypass the plug-in.

For more details on using VocALign see the manual at www.synchroarts.com/downloads

VocALign Project 3 and VocALign Pro 4 VST plug-ins do not currently work with Samplitude.

The capture sequence does not work and the side chain input selector is not displayed by Samplitude.

VocALign Project 3 and VocALign Pro 4 are VST 3 plug-ins.

Sony Vegas does not support VST3 plug-ins.

The other plug-in formats of VocALign (AU, AAX and Audio Suite) are also not supported by Sony Vegas.

If you select the VocALign menu in Studio One you may see the following message.

You need to update to the ARA compatible version of VocALign Pro. You can download the latest version of VocALign Pro from http://www.synchroarts.com/downloads

If you select the VocALign menu in Studio One you may see the following message.

You need to update to the ARA compatible version of VocALign Project. You can download the latest version of VocALign Project from http://www.synchroarts.com/downloads

Make sure VocALign Pro is not installed on your system as Studio One will select VocALign Pro in preference to VocALign Project.

This error usually means that the Guide signal had been edited (e.g. cutting it in two or more pieces) since it was last added to VocALign. Although VocALign knows that the Guide has been cut, it cannot know which bit of the cut Guide to use for alignment.  To generate  a valid aligned output, the guide and the dub need to be recaptured  (using "Drag and Drop" or the menus) before any reprocessing.

VocAlign Project and VocALign Pro do not work with Steinberg's WaveLab editor.

VocAlign Project and VocAlign Pro fully work with Steinberg's main editor products Cubase and Nuendo.

Pro Tools 11.2 and 11.3 may crash when loading VocALign or the only the background of the VocALign window may be displayed.

This has been fixed in

VocALign Pro 4.2.4 and VocALign Project 3.1.4

The Capture and Spot operations are very slow.

This has been fixed in VocALign Project 3.1.3 AAX and VocALign Pro 4.2.3
